Benefits Of Becoming A Junior Member
Barnet L.T.C. has a great value junior membership, with loads of benefits. There are also various family discounts if any of you have parents who would also like to play. See the membership forms for more details on this. Even if they don’t want to dust off their rackets they can still join free as social members.
What do you get for your membership?
- Cheaper coaching. Weekly and holiday coaching courses are cheaper for junior members than for non-members
- Free induction lesson. When you become a club member you will receive a free 30 minute induction lesson with one of the coaching team.
- Practice more. By becoming a club member you will have access to the club to practice in between lessons. If you join the club you can use the courts to regularly practice your skills, and you will improve much more.
- Make new friends. By becoming a club member you will meet other junior members, and this is how great friendships (often lifelong) are formed.
- Junior Night. On Friday evenings in the Summer Term and September all junior members can take part in Junior Night from 4.30 -6.30p.m. This is organised singles and doubles match-play, supervised by one of the coaching team and it’s free!
- Competitions. Regular competitions are organised for junior members. Junior Club Teams. We run teams in various leagues competing against other clubs.
- Wimbledon Ticket Draw. Club members are eligible for the Wimbledon ticket ballot.
- Great facilities. Play on our new ‘Claytex’ surface and our very popular artificial grass courts. Clubhouse with table tennis and pool.
